How does Kodi streaming work?
As we all know, Kodi is a media software used to stream content online. And the next questions come to our mind is, how Kodi can stream such large content? The answer is pretty simple. Most of the movies are hosted on the remote server. You just need a software to stream this content. Some software are Kodi, Plex, Streamio, etc…
In order to stream or download this content, you have to find and access the remote servers. Some of these servers are public and others are private. This is where the scrapers come into the play. Every Kodi addon has their own scrapers. Some of the popular addons have multi-scrapers. The higher number of scrapers an addon has, the more links it can fetch. There are lots of providers available like olpair, thevideo, CDN, etc… By using the provider’s link, we can stream or download the files.
What is tvad.me/pair error?
The traffic to these provider’s servers is extremely high. Various streaming software scrapes these servers regularly. So in order to prevent heavy load, most of the providers use stream authorization method. In this method, the user has to validate their IP to gain streaming access. In this way, providers can prevent unwanted traffic to their site. Tvad.me is one such pairing site for stream authorization. This provider has 2 sites for paring thevideo.me/pair and tvad.me/pair. Depends on the traffic and location, it will ask you to authorize your IP by visiting any of the above sites. By doing this, a user can receive streaming permission for 4 hours. After 4 hours, again it will ask for authorization.

How to fix tvad.me/pair kodi error?
Before we proceed: We all use Kodi to stream movies, tv shows and other contents. But all these materials are streamed illegally from different servers. So you may end up receiving copyright notice from your ISP. It is quite risky to stream all these content from your IP. Don’t panic. We have got a solution to this issue. By using Virtual Private Network (VPN) you can mask your actual IP address and stream from different IP. By this way, you can securely stream your favorite content on Kodi. After analysing 20+ top VPN providers, we found IPVanish to be the best one for Kodi. Sign up for IPVanish here.
Tvad.me/pair error can be fixed by three different methods. The core fix is you have to get your IP authorized from the provider’s site.
Method 1: Direct authorization
In this method, we will directly receive authorization permission from the provider. This is the easiest method of all.
Step 1: Open your web browser, Enter the provided URL you see in the Kodi popup window. (Usually its http://tvad.me/pair)
TIP: If you are using Kodi on firestick and can’t open the URL, then connect some other device (mobile/lap/PC) to the same router and open the URL. Here we are going to authorize only the IP, not the device. So you may authorize from any device. Make sure the device is connected to the same internet connection.
Still if the URL is not opening or blocked, it means that you can’t access the site from your country. Don’t worry we have got a solution for you. Just sign up for IPVanish VPN, and connect to a different country! You issue will get resolved easily.
Step 2: Click on Activate streaming. Now it will show a message stating that “your IP has been authenticated for 4 hours”.
NOTE: Sometimes you may be asked to solve the captcha before clicking on the activate streaming button.
Now you can enjoy all your favorite contents for 4 hours. After 4 hours, again you have to authorize again. In such cases, we suggest you use a VPN like IPVanish. By using IPVanish will mask your actual IP address and authorize the new IP securely.
Method 2: Disabling hosters with captcha
This is another method to prevent stream authorization. While scraping for the streaming links, we can configure our scrapers to the hosters with captcha or any such authorization. By doing this lot of hosters link will be removed. And the probability of playing the content may be reduced. This can be done with addon settings.
How to disable hoster with captcha?
Step 1: Right-click on the addon and select settings.
Step 2: Under playback menu, you will find “hosters with captchas” option. Disable it.
This method will disable all the hosters with captchas. So the link fetched will be reduced. You have to do this for each and every movie addon separately.
Method 3: Configuring URL resolver
Disabling hosters with captchas is an easy process if you are having 2 or 3 addons. Most of us may have multiple video addons. And all these contents are played from the remote server through the same providers. Disabling captcha for all these addons is a big process and consumes a lot of time. Here we will provide you a shortcut trick, to disable hosters for all addons.
After the source links are fetched by scrapers, they are filtered and resolved by URL Resolver to point the original server. By configuring the URL resolver, you can block some of the provider’s site with captcha. This is a onetime process.
How to configure URL Resolver
Step 1: Go to settings> System settings. And change the mode to “Expert mode”.
Step 2: Under the addon menu, select manage dependencies.
Step 3: Select URL Resolver from the list. And select configure.
Step 4: All the hosters are available under Resolvers 1 to Resolvers # (# depends on the number of previously scraped hosters) in alphabetical order.
Step 5: Select any hosters with captcha. I am selecting THE VIDEO. And disable this hosters.
In this way, you have to disable all the hosters with captcha. This is a one-time process only. After doing this any of your scrapers will not scrap THE VIDEO.
